Nicolas Cage will star sci-fi movie depicting a world ravaged by climate change. The film, called The Humanity Bureau, takes place in 2030 and in a mostly uninhabitable Midwest of America.
In the film, the Humanity Bureau is the title of a government agency that exiles people felt to be unproductive to a colony called New Eden.
Is it just me or does the name of the colony seem inviting to all slothful? Is that the point?
Anyway, Cage will play a caseworker seeking to appeal the exile of a single mother (Sarah Lind) and her son (Jakob Davies).
CHECK OUT: Jodie Foster to Star in Sci-Fi Thriller HOTEL ARTEMIS
The script is written by Dave Schultz.
The film, due to start shooting in British Columbia next week, will be directed by Rob King.
For the sake of the interesting premise, we really like this to be a good Nicolas Cage movie.
